INK STARTING POINT

INK INTENT.
TO BE INFORMED, THOUGHTFUL, INTENTIONAL, AND EFFICIENT.
These characteristics, taken in this order during the decision making process, form the basis of my design. Whether designing homes, building furniture, creating art, or planning adventures, these universal qualities guide my process.

ABOUT INK.
Ink has always been my preferred medium for drawing because it cannot be erased. Once ink touches paper it is permanent and can only be modified by adding to it. For this reason INK is the pseudonym used with all my work. Our existence is subjective and seems infinitely complex, though maybe explanations to our biggest questions are actually so simple that we can not comprehend the simplicity.

I believe the best we can do is to marvel at life every day, and do what we can to make each other’s lives more pleasant.

I strive to apply this motto to everything I do. My ongoing life work includes development of homes, furniture, art, picnic set, and philosophy. As I apply myself to each topic, I modify my motto, and I set an intent of key goals. It’s all a continual work in progress.
