Individuals who email in response to an ad are considered leads and should be recorded in the following method:
Name: John Smith.
Date contacted: Jan-01-Mon. at 00.00h CET or PST.
Ad platform: Zillow.com.
Phone: +1.000.000.0000.
Email: john.smith@gmail.com.
Note: Jan-01-Mon. AH, move Jan-02-Tue.
Note:
- Lead may be recorded by listing them in an email or by printing this webpage and recording by hand.
- Leads should be recorded in chronological order.
- The notes on each lead should be updated to indicate how things ended, usually in one of the following manners; they didn’t return call or email, it was determined property is not a good match, the person visits and applies or doesn’t apply.
When recording by email:
- If typed in an email the most recent lead should listed at the top with the oldest at the bottom.
- It typed and email the list should be sent about everyday with the date in the subject name. The existing list should be cut and pasted into the new email so the list continues to grow and always includes the full history.
When recording by hand:
- If hand written then the oldest lead will be listed first and the newest lead listed last.
