Separate webpages are provided to address each of the various aspects of the tenancy. These webpages may be accessed by the links at the top of this page or by reading through the summaries below and following the links. Review all instructions before contacting the owner.

CHECK IN.
Check in encompasses the activities of preparing to move in to a property, as well as collecting the keys. The tenant should immediately review the check in instructions to answer questions about this phase of the tenancy. Use webpage august.ink/check-in.

RESPONSIBILITY.
During tenancy the tenant is responsible to maintain the property so that it is returned to the owner in the same state that it was provided to the tenant. The tenant therefore has responsibilities related to insurance, utilities, cleaning and regular maintenance. The tenant should review these responsibilities at the start of tenancy to make sure the responsibilities are followed. When an issue comes up during tenancy the tenant should double check their responsibilities before contacting the owner. Use webpage august.ink/responsibility.

CONTACT.

ACCESS.
Access to a neighboring property may be needed by a tenant in order to perform maintenance or repair work to their own building, utility or equipment. Tenant should follow the same procedures that the owner would follow when needing to access a property. Use webpage august.ink/access.

HELP.
Help for emergencies, urgent and non-urgent issues should be requested by different ways depending on the issue. Use webpage august.ink/help.

CHECK OUT.
